Chapter 14
HOW TO BECOME IMMORTAL AND/OR IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH
Parts of your body are dying and others are being born as you read these lines; some are just seconds old, and some have just died. A mother is able to create a new body for her newborn — so can you create one for yourself. Even after you have died, new cells in your body are still being born. You can consciously decide how these new parts, which replace the old ones, get created: with the old way of thinking (that we grow old and die), or with a paradigm shift that creates a new, healthy, immortal body for yourself — one that is disease-free, full of vigor and good health. Is this possible? Yes, it is. All it takes is for you to change the way you think.
The only reason you are not immortal is that you have not consciously chosen to be so; you have not yet realized the god within you. The day you figure it out — as Jesus and many others did — you too will become immortal. In the meanwhile, before you and I completely figure out how to do it, there is a lot we can do to improve our present body’s condition and get one step closer to immortality. Here are some excerpts from others who explain it in different words:
The physical structure of our bodies is a holographic projection of our consciousness; each of us is responsible for our own health. What we now view as miraculous remissions of disease may actually be due to changes in consciousness, which in turn effect changes in the hologram of the body. Similarly, controversial new healing techniques such as visualization may work so well because, in the holographic domain of thought, images are ultimately as real as “reality.”
There is nothing in the Universal Subconscious Mind that desires our bodies to be warped away from the purposeful functioning for which they were intended. It is our conception of ourselves that visits disease upon us; and when we have conceived ourselves to be spiritually perfect, we become physically perfect. The real you is not your body. Your body is but an infinitesimal extension in time and space. The real you is mental and spiritual, free of the confines of space and time, limitless in power and in the capacity to understand and create. When you have recognized your true spiritual self, you have become identified with the immortal Self, and disease cannot exist in your body, for there is no limitation in the Universal Subconscious Mind.

Start by taking responsibility for your own health; your health, and even your looks, are your own creation. Aging is a programmed belief you have created, not a real fact of life — and you can change it, if you want to. Even a broken bone can be put back in place in an instant with the power of your mind. I know it can be done, because I did it once with a broken bone in my leg: I felt it break, and heard it break in three places; the pain was so great that my consciousness left my body, and when I noticed I was out of the body, I quickly got to work repairing it — and it worked. More on this in Chapter 38, Tips and Tools for Improving Your Life and Health.
