Part Three

Where to Find More Information

As the logical person you probably are, you want useful, practical, to-the-point information that you can put to use in a reasonable amount of time. Part Three of this book gives you some of the most valuable pieces of information — the ones that have made my own life much easier and better to live. Putting the advice in the following chapters into practice will enhance your quality of life substantially. In the coming pages you will find a brief introduction to some masters. By no means is this list complete or exhaustive; it is simply a place to start. There have been many masters available throughout history, for every language and epoch, but never has there been so much opportunity to get translated, condensed, and improved information so easily.

My advice to you is: read from many masters — but do yourself a favor, and do not just read; put into practice what you read. The last chapter of this book will give you a clear explanation of how to get started. You will find that all good masters (and yes, there is a lot of incorrect information out there, especially that brought to you by religions) will, in one way or another, lead you in the same direction — some slower, some faster, some starting from one place and some from another — but ALL roads lead to the same ultimate truth. As when traveling any road, if you have been on it a long time and something does not feel right, ask for further directions; in this case, move on to the next master. A sign that you are with a good master is that he or she will never tell you theirs is the only way; all good masters will tell you to follow your heart (your Higher Self knows best) and to take what feels right for you at the time.

For example, some masters tell their pupils to abstain from sex, even from sexual thoughts, while others have very emphatically told them to go have plenty of sex — in fact, to go to an orgy, and have even provided a place for one — and told them not to come back until they were fully satisfied, saying there was no sense in trying to concentrate on the teachings if their thoughts were on sex, food, or anything else. Likewise, many schools of the so-called secret arts (there are NO secrets) tell their students they must become vegetarians, but this does not work when you crave meat. Only YOU will know when it is time for you to become a vegetarian, or to stop eating cooked food, or to have or not have sex. And it is quite easy to know: just follow your heart. How do you do this? Simple: just do what gives you the most joy. Though here comes a paradox — I said do what gives you the most joy, not what gives your ego the most joy.

There is a very long list of masters who have lived on Earth to teach us; among them: Confucius, Djwhal Khul, El Morya, Ganesh, Gautama Buddha, Hilarion, Jesus/Sananda, John the Baptist, Kuthumi, Maitreya, Mary, Melchizedek, Metatron, Milarepa, Nada, Paul the Venetian, Quan Yin, Saint Germain, Sanat Kumara, Serapis Bey, and Zoroaster, to name just a few. It is really up to us to seek out the information they left behind. In the following chapters I will guide you to the ones I believe will be easiest for you to understand, and of most value to our present needs as a society. In addition to the many masters, there have also been several mystery schools that have very closely guarded this information; I will point you to a few of those I have found most valuable.
