Gasification is being used for solid waste streams, including municipal trash and garbage, industrial waste such as plastics and wood waste, and for agricultural waste and biomass such as bagasse (sugar cane waste), wood and forestry waste, and coarse grasses.

The gasification process produces heat that can be indirectly used for space heating, industrial processes, or electrical generation. It also produces fuel gases that can be stored for later use, or used directly in internal combustion generators, or in boiler-driven generators. Such processes can produce more energy than they consume. Byproducts of trash gasification can include metals for recycling and obsidian-like glass for industrial abrasive use or construction aggregate.

In addition, biomass, tires and plastics can be converted into oils capable of powering diesel motors without modification. We have several different sources of gasification equipment we are working with, to make this equipment more generally available.
